About

RÜDE CÅT

RÜDE CÅT is a Caribbean–American storyteller, producer, and multi-instrumentalist creating cinematic, genre-fluid music built to feel like film. The work lives in contrast: light and dark, beauty and pressure, truth and illusion. It's emotional, intentional, and designed to move people, not just rack up plays.

Whether he's writing, producing, or directing the full sonic world, RÜDE CÅT approaches every record like a scene. The goal stays simple: make something timeless, not trendy.

Journey / Origin

RÜDE CÅT's work comes from obsession with craft and a refusal to water down the truth. His philosophy is simple: truth is a nourishing fire. It burns off what's fake and leaves what's real.

That's why the music feels lived-in. Raw but polished. Honest but elevated. It's built to reach people who are carrying pressure quietly and still showing up anyway.

"Truth is a nourishing fire. I try to get others to see the world through my eyes, and if hard times persist, music will reach them."

Sound / Signature

The signature is story-first production with cinematic texture, emotional pacing, and vocal direction that feels human. The sound pulls from soul, rock, funk, and modern alt-R&B, shaped into something that's both classic and forward.

RÜDE CÅT is hands-on across the process. Writing, production, arrangement, and direction are treated as one language.

Performance

On stage, RÜDE CÅT translates the record into a physical experience. Tension, release, and storytelling you can feel in the room. He has performed across Los Angeles at spaces including School Night, LA Uprising at Liberty Park, Intercrew, The Bourbon Room, COLORSxSTUDIOS, and Verse.

Outside the stage, the world around the music is collaborative by design. The focus is always the same: protect the vision, raise the standard, and build with people who care about the outcome, not just the moment.

What's Next

RÜDE CÅT's next era expands beyond songs into a fuller world. Now at Vanta, and Disney, new releases are built with cinematic intention, with plans to connect music to visual storytelling and narrative extensions that deepen the experience.

Alongside that solo vision, he's continuing to develop RoR as a broader creative home for production, direction, and collaborative releases, building a platform where the work can scale without losing taste, truth, or identity.

In parallel, he's focused on building infrastructure that empowers artists through tools, data, and community, not just releases.
